Holidays/Personal Days

B.A.E.S.S. provides six (6) paid holidays and 3 paid personal days for all regular full-time employees.  If the paid holidays fall on a Sunday or other non-scheduled work day, eligible employees may take another day off during the calendar year, in lieu of the non-scheduled work day holiday. The paid holidays are earned immediately upon hire and are taken as they occur.  The personal days are earned at the rate of two (2) hours per month and begin to accrue after the first three (3) full calendar months of employment and may be taken after they are earned. 

Purpose

  • To allow employees to spend holidays and personal days free from their job responsibilities whenever possible.

Holiday Eligibility:  Regular Full-time Employees.  The first day of employment.

Personal Day Eligibility:  Regular Full-time Employees.  The first day of the month following three full calendar months of employment.

Employee Responsibilities

  • Eligible employees must use any personal days within the calendar year they are provided.  Personal days must be requested in advance and approved by your manager.

Manager Responsibilities

  • Ensure that eligible employees receive the correct amount of paid holiday time.
