Performance Management

Employee performance is key to achieving business results and organizational productivity.  B.A.E.S.S. uses formal and informal performance feedback tools to assist employees in developing high levels of performance.  It is our belief that performance appraisal is an ongoing, sometimes daily, process and that regular two way communication between employees and their supervisors is the best way to assure individual growth.

Purpose

  • To provide formal and informal opportunities for employees to receive feedback on their performance.
  • To help employees improve his/her skills and achieve company objectives.

Employee Responsibilities

  • Employees should be proactive in soliciting performance feedback and guidance from their managers and peers.
  • Employees should work to improve performance and make an effort to solicit coaching and assistance from his/her manager.
  • Employees are encouraged to discuss their performance on a regular basis with their supervisor.

Manager Responsibilities

  • Managers are responsible for explaining their employment expectations to their employees.
  • Provide ongoing opportunities for informal performance feedback through coaching and one-on-one discussions.
  • Managers are responsible for initiating corrective action processes when necessary to address performance issues.

Executive Responsibilities

  • Provide support for managers in developing effective ongoing mechanisms for performance feedback.
